Well, this really isn't usability testing though. At best it's a very, very, very , very small component of visual design which is one of 6 core elements of the user experience. One challenge with usability is that people often make it sound simple and there's often more than meets the eye. This is very topical feedback about design and has its own inherent bias. you would expect the larger and more colorful page/design elements to be more easily remembered after a few seconds. that would b a reasonable expectation, right? but...does that actually impact how users use the site? Or identify problems with the site? or point to ways to fix the problems?

would love to hear more about how you used the feedback and how it helped you improve your design.

Oh dear.

I couldn't bear to risk the test on one of my own pages... I'm too much of a coward.

Thanks Ann

Hum, interesting,
But i suggest you to do not change SEO Consulting any where on your blog.
Because your blog has already been ranked on competitive keyword like "SEO Consulting" on 10th pos. in Google, so if you really feel from your heart your blog design needs some changes than you may go ahead. Thanks, John.
